Field Trips

The Hilliard University Art Museum provides quality educational programs and exciting learning opportunities for adult groups and students from preschoolers to college students to the lifelong learner. The maximum number in group is 60 persons. Tours typically last one to two hours depending on activities selected.

Discounted group prices apply for groups of 20 or more.

  • Students: $2
  • Adults: $4
  • Teachers: Free
  • Bus Drivers: Free

Docent Led Tours may be provided for all groups when scheduled in advance. Museum docents are community volunteers who study and prepare for in-depth gallery discussions about current exhibitions. Field trips are a wonderful way to provide additional insight into the collections on view. Request a tour date and time below.

Students are welcome to bring brown bag lunches and enjoy a break on the museum’s great lawn or in Girard Park adjacent to the museum.

The museum has two loading zones for buses. They are located on Girard Park Drive and Saint Mary Boulevard. We can store lunch boxes, school bags, and coolers while you visit the museum. We unfortunately do not have a rainy day lunch area.

For details on how teachers can make the most of their visit, check out our lesson plans and other ways to customize your visit.

If you are selecting the Artist-In-Residence program option with Claire Caffery, please make note that this program is only available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am-12pm through May 4, 2018.
