Greta Gerstner joined the Hilliard ARt Museum as the interim events coordinator in August 2018, joining the full-time staff in January 2019. She graduated
with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Photography from Nichols State University in May 2012. Greta has been working as a freelance photographer since 2012,
focusing primarily on creative photography and collaboration with other artists. She loves photographing dancers and has been Basin Arts official photographer
since 2016. Greta previously worked at Acadiana Center for the Arts as the assistant events coordinator, then moved into a production manager position
at luxury lifestyle event marketing company. Both of these experiences led her to create her own events business called Generation Greta, a company
specializing non-profit and private events. Greta has spearheaded numerous events in Lafayette, such as TEDx Vermilion Street, and 24-Hour Citizen
Project. She is also a planning committee member for Southern Screen. You could say that Greta landed her dream job as the Hilliard has all of her
favorite things: education, art, and community.
