The Hilliard Art Museum – University of Louisiana at Lafayette is committed to the safety, health, and well-being of our visitors and staff. We are closely monitoring the US Center for Disease Control’s guidance surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as the leadership and directives from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 8:00am, the Hilliard Art Museum will be closing to the public until further notice. This closure effects our main museum building, the A. Hays Town building, as well as all of our gallery spaces and exhibitions. All public programming and K-12 tours and programming are suspended until further notice.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this together to keep our community safe.

What can you do?

Continue to wash your hands regularly, using soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds, and avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth, and remember to stay informed.
