Play Day: Neon Nights

February 23, 20194:00—8:00pm

You won’t want to miss this special evening Play Day experience! Polly and Lou will be celebrating all things that glow and light up the dark as we play into the night! Investigate the science of how things glow with the UL Chemistry Club or imagine yourself on the big screen with interactive animation. Create a unique light, color, and art display at the Tattooed Walls station hosted by Festival International. Hear a bedtime story from local children’s author Peter Lagarde and enjoy art and gallery activities. Sign up on our Facebook ahead of time to make a luminary hat with the educators from the Alexandria Museum of Art, then show off your new look on the dance floor! Everyone is encouraged to contribute to our book and art supply drive with Project H.O.P.E. by bringing your donations to Play Day.

We are proud to partner with Project H.O.P.E., The Family Tree, Festival International, the Alexandria Museum of Art, Animation Faculty and Students from UL Lafayette College of the Arts, UL Chemistry Club, and the UL Louisiana Art Education Association Student Organization.
